"Fire it Up", written by Demi Grace and produced by California based, producer and DJ, D3fb0t, is the fusion of EDM and Afrobeat music. The duo both went to high school together in the San Francisco Bay Area and reunited to create music. This is the first release of the I Am Fearless EP during "Fearless Fridays" series. Demi Grace is a fusion artist that infuses electronic dance music (EDM) with soul, afrobeat, pop and reggae in her music, which is far from the norm.
Here is one artist that loves to have a good time and still manages to convey very clear messages in her music. Almost always portraying a story blended purely with rhythm and melody.
In I Am Fearless, Demi Grace fiercely teams up with a diverse group of producers to create a exotic flow. Some of the producers in this project are originally from Kenya, Nigeria, and Hawaii to name a few. Demi Grace even tags along, Brittish "up and coming" rapper Kimmy in "We Are Not Alone" which is a blend of EDM meets Hip Hop, unlike anything you've heard out now.
Demi Grace's sound is reminiscent of early house/pop music but at the same time futuristic in nature, urging one to listen over and over again.
