Waitstaff at an old folks home.  I was 14.  (I ate a lot of pistachio ice cream in those days ;)

What Is Some Advice You Would Give To Someone Wanting To Form Their Own Band?

Make sure the people your working with have the same musical vision as you do. It doesn't matter how good they are, if they don't want the band to go in the same direction musically as you do.  Different opinions are good.  They will give your music dimension.  Different vision for the sound of the band?- Not good.  It just makes a big mess and will ultimately waste your and the other members time.
